What is a VISA?
A visa is a sticker or a stamp placed in the passport of an individual which is regarded as a permission to enter into a new country for a period of time.It may be a single-entry or a multiple-entry.
There are two types of Visas.one is Immigrant visa(permanent residents in the united states) and non-immigrant visas(non-permanent residents).Normally students who want to pursue their master's come under non-immigrants and their quota is named as "F" visa.Those going for vocational studies come under "M" type.
How to apply for a VISA?
Students leaving to united states need to hold a F-1 visa.The documents that you need to enclose while attending a visa interview with a duly filled Visa form are as follows
Admit letter - > It is sent to you by the university,which granted the admission to you.
Passport - > A valid Passport.
Fee - > As mentioned the visa form.
Academic papers - > You need to carry all your academic documents that you achieved in your life.
SOP - > Statement Of Purpose is the main one where you should be able to deliver your words why you chosen the particular course in that university and all.
Financial Documents - > These financial documents are like the university tution fees,IT returns,Bank account,property documents listed by a chartered accountant and they must be original documents

Reasons for Visa rejections:

The main two reasons for the visa rejections for the people who apply is that they fail to convince the visa officer that he/she might not return to their locations back and lack of sufficient funds.
